EXACT MEASUREMENT: Furnace and Air Conditioner Filters have an actual size that is a  fraction of an inch smaller in length and width than the listed air filter size (for example, a 20x30x1 air filter is actually 19 ½ x 29 ½ x ¾ ). Please use the actual size of your current air filter when ordering custom sizes. Use a tape measure or yardstick if necessary to measure the outer dimensions for your custom air filter order. Check Actual Sizes of our standard size furnace and air conditioner filters to make sure a standard size air filter wouldn't work for you. The actual width and length of the air filter should be within 1/8 of an inch, if not order a custom size air filter.

FILTER THICKNESS: All Nordic Pure One Inch Air Filters are actually 3/4”, All Nordic Pure Two Inch Air Filters are actually 1-3/4”, and All Nordic Pure Four Inch Air Filters are actually 3-3/4” thick.

CONSTRUCTION: Custom filters are made cutting down or combining 1,2 or 3 a/c filter frames. Depending on the size we may use any combination of glue, staples and tape to make your custom size filters. So, they may not be pretty but they WILL be strong enough to handle your HVAC system. Plus they usually cost less than our competitors, especially with the Free Shipping!

RETURNS: Nordic Pure makes any size 1”, 2” or 4” air filters for those odd size filters. Custom filters are not returnable since we hand  make them according to your exact dimensions when you list your filter size above. Since you can't return custom sized filters, please make sure you order the  EXACT size you need to the fraction of an inch.

SHIPPING: We try to ship our custom filters within 7-14 business days. They will be shipped from Tulsa, OK. You should receive an email from UPS Quantum View when your custom order ships.
